SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA FEBRUARY 9 & 10

Henry kicked off the second half of his 2007 road trip to do some Good Ole Fashioned "Southern California Line Dancin'" when he made four appearances on February 9th and 10th!

On Thursday the 9th Henry roared into the Rosemead Community Center where he met up with Instructor Yu Tan and her Wonderful Bunch of dancers who greeted Henry with open arms as their guest upon his arrival. He then kept them on their toes and enjoyed an afternoon of Stepping and Smiling as he taught two of his dances an oldie but goodie in "I'm Onto You" which he followed up with his latest "Daybreak." The final day on the trip was a busy one which saw Henry hit three venues in one day. First was an early morning appearance in Alhambra when he hit the Joslyn Center. A joyous group led by instructor Vivian Robles were full of Morning Sunshine as they had the joint jumping and were full of energy as they started off swinging to Henry's "Steps To A Better Tomorrow" and wanted more so he obliged by also doing "Luckiest Girl" before ending with his signature stepper which left all "Hopping Mad!"

It was then back to Rosemead for an afternoon of food, fun and dancing when Henry was one of the featured entertainers at their annual "Sweethearts Jamboree" Things kicked off with some Bingo and a Delicious Lunch consisting of stuffed chicken breats with some red potatoes, green beans, garden salad, and chocolate mousse parfait. Then Henry took center stage as Special Guest Instructor and had the huge crowd on the floor groovin' as he taught "I'm Onto You" This was followed by dancing all afternoon to DJ Margaret Rivas, a wonderful teacher herself who invited Henry and the sizzling Latin Touch Band all of whom left everybody with Love in the Air. Henry then said his goodbyes and quickly took to the road for his third appearance of the day an evening performance in Ventura where the theme was Red, White and Blue as the Henry was guest instructor at the "Country Lovers Dance Club" wonderful "Americana Dance!" A big crowd led by the club's president Carol Rogers greeted Henry with a warm welcomed return and Henry aimed to please as he got everyone's feet tapping to his dance "Thrive" Henry then joined all on the floor as the clubs Dynamic DJ's Marshall & Teresa Throneberry kept things Swingin' all night long as they played a bunch of favorites sending all home happy!

Henry sends the following message.... "Hey all I'd like to say to Thank You So Much to Margaret Rivas, Vivian Robles, Carol Rogers, Yu Tan and Marshall & Teresa Throneberry some super instructors and friends for inviting me and allowing me to be part of your fabulous classes and events! I truly enjoyed appearing and instructing! Your all a pleasure to work with and I hope to do it again in the future! Most Important to all the wonderful dancers of Southern California who took time out to join me! You made me feel at home and like one of your own something I appreciated very much! Looking forward to performing again for you someday soon! Till then Keep Smilin' and Steppin'!"
