Henry took to some traveling in early 2007 as he took his "10 Years Of Dancin' Fun Tour" out on the road for some Good Ole Fashioned "Southern California Line Dancin'" on February 6th and 7th! Things got off to a great start as a super group of dancers joined Henry in Los Angeles when he appeared at the "Venice Japanese Community Center." on Monday February 6th. Right off Henry felt at home as the Center's Coordinator of Line Dancing Tosh Aiboshi and Award Winning Line Dance Instructor in the Southland Noel Castle joined the Smiling steppers in giving him a warm welcome. Then Henry took the microphone headset as he lead the beginner and advanced classes all afternoon teaching a variety of some of his dances. After his "Steps To A Better Tomorrow" Henry could see the enthusiasm for line dancing is very apparent with this group. Then after following up with "Luckiest Girl" and his latest smooth mover "Daybreak" all the dancers joined Henry in some laughs showing what a fun crowd this truly is! ![]() The next day Tuesday February 7th a busy day awaited Henry as he returned to two of his favorite Southern California Stops. First off was a trip to Pasadena where he was the Special Guest of Instructor Vivian Robles and her Lovely Group of Line Dancers at the Jackie Robinson Center. Always making Henry feel like an old friend this is a place and crowd he enjoys teaching to as he did in taking them through two classics "I'm Onto You" and his delightful "Dreaming Of You." while having much fun! Then later in the day it was off to the Baldwin Park Community Center where Liz Montez and her Fabulous Floaters swayed across the floor and made time fly as they had a good time with Henry while dancing to his hoppin' "Cowgirl Mansion," "Daybreak" and "Thrive."
Message From Henry.... "I would like to say Thank You to Four Wonderful Teachers Tosh Aiboshi, Noel Castle, Liz Montez and Vivian Robles who are also Fabulous Friends for inviting me to be a Special Guest Instructor at their great classes and for allowing me to share some fun times with their great dancers. Also Special Thanks to all of you who took time out to take my lessons and do some steppin' with me. It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces and to meet some new ones too! I can honestly say you truly made teaching for you tons of fun. I hope too see you all again soon! Till Then Take Care and Keep on Dancin'!" |
