CENTENNIAL WESTERN CHILI COOKOFF

It was an evening of fabulous food and fancy footwork with Henry when over one hundred and twenty five people of all ages filled The "Saint Augustine's Catholic Church" in Oakland, California for some cowboy fun at their Centennial Western Chili Cookoff.

The night started with the Chili Cookoff and Pie Bake Battle where everyone attending was treated to some tasty pleasures courtesy of the competitions creative chefs who concocted sixteen different delicious chilies one of which even contained the secret ingredient of alligator in it! Then to top it off for dessert a bunch of bakers created a batch of amazing pies for all to gobble on too.

Then after Prizes and Ribbons were awarded to the winners it was time for the nights entertainment which featured everyone participating in some real Country Line Dancing with "Mr. Hopping Mad!" Henry Costa who had all the Boot Scooters moving and grooving as he led all with a Yee Haw! as he taught many of westerns hot swinging steppers including Rawhide, Ah Si!, Cupid Shuffle, Electric Slide, and The Achy Breaky!

Henry Says "I Had Such A Great Time With All Of You Who Came Out To The Centennial Western Chili Cook-Off And Joined Me In Enjoying A Wonderful Evening Of Food And Fun! I Hope We All Get To Do It Again Someday! I'd like to Thank Saint Augustine's Church, Catherine Montalbo, And Everyone Who Attended For Allowing Me To Be Part Of The Fabulous Festivities!"
