It was a fun filled afternoon for all those who came out and had some fun in the sun by helping Henry and the One Bear Project heal hearts one fuzzy friend at a time by donating and attending
"Bear Party 2008!" This special event which took place at "Harley Davidson Fremont" was a smashing success as over one thousand new and high quality stuffed animals were collected for this years chosen charity the "Calico Center."

All those who attended were treated to great times which ranged from A Motorcycle and Car Show to some super entertainment that featured some good ole Country Line Dancing with "Mr. Hopping Mad! Henry Costa" who taught some hot movers to people of all ages including "McGruff The Crimedog" who was in attendance and enjoyed a step or two. There was also a fabulous rock concert by "The Diehards." The event was also being broadcast live on the radio with "89.3 KOHL" who gave many interviews with those who were enjoying the fun. There were also members of Classic Hits "106.9 KFRC" in the house.

For all those who worked up a hunger and thirst there was plenty of Free Food for everyone that included a delicious BBQ and plenty of pizza too. There was also a bunch of goodies and fun for the kiddies that included face painting and mini golfing, courtesy of "Boomer's Amusement Park" and their friends from "Malibu Grand Prix & Castle." In addition there was also hands on how to fun and fingerprinting from Fremont's "Kiwanis Club" and Home Improvement Center "Lowes"

Some super vendors were also on hand for the occasion giving out great gifts and important information on their business and organizations that included "Cartridge World" of Central Fremont. "All Ways Towing," Many Local Fire and Police Departments, The beautiful artwork of "Hope Custom Paint" Newark Hardwares Wonderful "Orchard Supply" Crew, The super bunch from the "Niles Canyon Railway" and Fremont's very own "Dale Hardware"

Henry says "I'd like to say a very special Thank You! to everyone who took time out to stop by say Hi participate in the fun and most importantly brought a bear or two to help out in bringing some deserving kids at the Calico Center a big smile! Also Thanks to Karen Kadaja and the One Bear Project for having me back at this years fabulous event!"
