LIBRARY LINE DANCE

On November 5, 2005 The Fabulous Fukaya Room at the Main Library in Beautiful Fremont, California hosted its first ever "Library Line Dance" Event. A Turn Away Capacity Crowd of 200 joined "Mr. Hopping Mad!" Henry Costa for an afternoon filled with Dancing, Laughing and Some Plain Ole Fashioned Fun.

Those who attended were a great mix of long time steppers coupled along with those brand new to Line Dancing who came out to try Boot Scootin' for the very first time. This combination made for lots of enthusiasm and jubiliant faces all around.

Henry kept everyone on their feet by teaching the hot dance "Power Jam", long time favorite the "West Coast Strut" and his current hit steppin' "Temptin'" which got the biggest response of the day from all of those who were swingin' and stompin' to a wide variety of music all afternoon long.

Henry says, "I would like to give a big shout out of "Thanks!" to Gertrude Rooshan, Angela Yang, and all of the Fremont Main Library Staff and Crew for hosting and making this event such a huge success! It was a pleasure to work with all of you! Most important I'd like to say "Thank You So Much!" to all of you who came out and danced the afternoon away with me. Your response and enthusiasm to both Myself and the Event was overwhelming!! It was such a Joy and Honor for me to teach for all of you!!!"
