Over 100,000 people hit Fremont, California on September 9th and 10th for an event Five Decades in the making when they came out for tons of Fun, Food and Music at "Celebrate Fremont." The half century weekend bash kicked off on Saturday morning with "Hands Around The Lake" and took people on a mile and a half journey through "Central Park" covering Fremont's Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow.
All attending the Biggest Event in Fremont's History were treated to Two Days of Non Stop Action that featured Nine Stages of World Class Entertainment, A Spectacular Evening Laser Light Show, Fabulous Food Courts, A Giant Kid's Zone, Sporting Events, Health and Wellness Pavilions, Interactive Games, Art Walks, Cooking Demonstrations, An Essanay Silent Film Festival, and A 120 Foot Main Street. In addition there were Tons of Showcase Tents and Booths featuring Demonstrations, Crafts and just about everything else imaginable.
On Saturday Afternoon A Capacity Crowd Filled the Fremont Tomorrow Teen Dance Pavilion for some Dancing with "Mr. Hopping Mad! Henry Costa" and Helped Blow The Roof off the Place as they Followed Henry's Lead in Shaking and Spinning to Popular Steppers the "West Coast Strut", "Power Jam" and "Cotton Eyed Joe" during his hour plus performance. Joining Henry for the exciting show were the Saddle Rack's Ladies of Line Dance Danni, Michele and Sherri plus the Pavilions Fabulous D. J. Chris all of whom helped Henry keep everyone moving with smiles on their faces and leaving them wanting more as the show ended!
